The past year was HARD. COVID-19 came crashing through our rearview mirrors, locking us at home, keeping us away from our dear M8, and making all our design courses 10x harder. But miraculously, in true M8 fashion, we persevered and made it through. However, we were still bummed out when we lost our chance to have a proper jury, our only opportunity to show off the culmination of all our breakdowns and sleepless nights.

Never Fear, For SASA is Here!

In order to motivate and encourage us, the students of the Architectural Engineering Department, during the ongoing pandemic, SASA organized its first online exhibition on Instagram. The event allowed students from different design stages taught in the Spring semester of 2019-2020 to submit their work and showcase it during the online exhibition.

The exhibition was divided into 4 categories, each held over a week between the 18th of June and the 11th of July. Students were able to vote every Thursday for their favorite design via Instagram Polls. All votes were filtered to ensure that no one voted twice in one category. The winners were announced on the 11th of July, and were given official certificates of achievement! Head over to SASA_Updates on Instagram and check out the highlights to see everyone's projects!

Special thanks to everyone that participated in this event and made it extraordinary! Congratulations to all the winners!
