Design to WIN 10,000 AED AND an Internship at P&T

P&T, one of the world's current leading architectural firms, is BACK with the 3rd edition of their annual Architectural Student Competition, a competition that aims to provide students with the platform to present their architectural design skills and develop their portfolio.

This year, P&T challenges you to design a multi-cultural understanding center and public plaza reflecting the UAE's welcoming and understanding attitude towards the diverse cultures it hosts, as well as the

Participants are to submit their proposals on a maximum of 2 A1 posters in JPEF or PDF format by the Sunday the 16th of May 2021. By May 30th, the shortlisted proposals will be announced and the respective designers will be invited to present their work online. After all is said and done, the winners will be announced on the 10th of June and the ceremony will be held on the 1st of July.

The competition will award Certificates of Achievement for the top 3 entries and the 7 honorable mentions. The prizes include 4,000 AED for the 3rd place, 6,000 AED for the 2nd place, and, what I'm sure you're all aiming for, 10,000 AED for the 1st place along with a P&T internship (with the possibility of it turning into a permanent position) for the group leader.

The competition will be judged anonymously by a variety of experienced architects and engineers of local and international experience to determine the winners. The jurors include chairs, directors, associates and members from RIBA, P&T Architects and Engineers, Ellington Properties, Dubai Airport Free Zone Authority, and Society of Engineers.
